UPDATE/FRISSÍTÉS - 2015.11.05., 21:20

A hivatlaos honlap frissült, a magyarországi "media kontakt" a Live Nation Hungary egyik kollégája. Szóval, elvileg a "Live Nation Magyarország" szervező a koncertet itthon és a "Ticketpro" weboldalán lehet majd jegyeket venni.

Náluk még semmi információ nincs kint a honlapon, de érdemes figyelni! :)

Hans Zimmer Live on Tour 2016 Teaser

ACADEMY AWARD®, GOLDEN GLOBE®, GRAMMY®, AND TONY® AWARD-WINNING FILM COMPOSER ANNOUNCES FIRST EVER TOUR
WITH MUSIC FROM: GLADIATOR, THE LION KING, THE DARK KNIGHT TRILOGY, INCEPTION, INTERSTELLAR, MAN OF STEEL, PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN, TRUE ROMANCE, THE DA VINCI CODE, CRIMSON TIDE AND MANY MORE
** “THIS IS GENUINE JAWS-ON-THE-FLOOR STUFF” – EVENT/MAIL ON SUNDAY **
** “A BEAUTIFUL INTRICATE SYMPHONY OF VISUAL DELIGHTS” – THE TIMES **
Hans Zimmer, Hollywood’s most in demand and innovative film music composer whose 100 film scores have made over $24 billion at the box office, has today announced his very first tour.
Zimmer’s 20-piece studio band, with whom he records his award-winning soundtracks, will be appearing alongside Lebo M, best known for his stunning vocals on Zimmer’s Academy Award®-winning score for Disney’s The Lion King, as well as an orchestra and choir. With over 70 musicians on stage, ‘Hans Zimmer Live On Tour’ will be a must-see audio and visual live spectacular.
The tour will kick off in London on April 6th, 2016 and will be taking in 18 cities in total before the finale in Sofia on May 16th.
The German-born musician has composed the iconic soundtracks to blockbusters such as Inception, Interstellar, The Dark Knight Trilogy (all with filmmaker Christopher Nolan), Gladiator, 12 Years a Slave, The Lion King, Pirates of the Caribbean, Spiderman, The Thin Red Line, The Da Vinci Code, Mission Impossible, Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes, Thelma And Louise, Crimson Tide, Rain Man and many more.
Zimmer, who has been described ‘One of the 100 Living Geniuses’ by The Telegraph, has been honored with an Academy Award®, two Golden Globes®, three Grammys®, an American Music Award, and a Tony® Award. His most recent Academy Award nomination for Interstellar marks his 10th career Oscar nomination with the Academy. In 2003, ASCAP presented him with the prestigious Henry Mancini award for Lifetime Achievement for his impressive and influential body of work. He also received his Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2010.
According to director Steve McQueen (12 Years A Slave) “Hans Zimmer is quite simply the contemporary composer to work with when it comes to translating a visual narrative into sound“.
The 2016 tour comes off the back of two very special ‘Hans Zimmer Revealed’ shows at London’s legendary Hammersmith Apollo in 2014. The sold out shows were rapturously received by critics and the public alike. Amazingly, in a Hollywood career that has spanned decades, these were Zimmer’s first full-length, live shows, and were made even more special by the appearance of two of Zimmer’s collaborators: guitarist Johnny Marr and Pharrell Williams.
Like the Hammersmith shows, ‘Hans Zimmer Live On Tour’, will be a striking visual experience designed and lit by world-renowned lighting designer Marc Brickman. Brickman has worked with everyone from Pink Floyd to Nine Inch Nails to Barbra Streisand, and heads the lighting direction of the Empire State Building in New York City.
It was during the Hammersmith shows that Zimmer and his friend and collaborator, Harvey Goldsmith, were encouraged to put on the Europe-wide concert series.
On the announcement of the tour, Zimmer commented, “Performing a tour like this is something that I have always wanted to do, and I am thrilled that the time has finally come,” said Zimmer. “I am very excited to get some of my very talented friends together and give our audiences an experience unlike any concert they have ever been to before.”
Harvey Goldsmith added, “There are already a number of touring concerts with orchestras playing film music with the movie projected on the screen above. Hans will be presenting his music his way. He has chosen an amazing array of musicians to accompany him on stage, including several surprise special guests. This a show not to be missed.”
